Almost everyone knows Niyam Bhushan as Editor, PCWorld India. But long ago, PCWorld contained a Macworld section. As the then Contributing Editor, he wrote the celebrated Iconoclast column since 1995 on Apple Macintosh.
As Team Leader and in charge of PCWorld Editors Choice Annual for 2000, he created an unprecedented issue in indian IT media with a whopping 232 pages and over 80 world class winners. That too in record time and with meagre resources.
In Feb 2001 PCWorld india shut down due to a top-level management glitch between IDG the principal of PCWorld, and the local franchisee MTIL, over a joint-venture negotiation.
